Currently, Zebra Biofuels is a company in name only. We are in the process of registering ourselves as a true corporation so that we can then pursue investors.

The people behind Zebra Biofuels are Jon H. Georg and his wife Aleta Groenig.

Jon has been studying this industry for the past 8 years, when he first stumbled across an article on it just prior to graduating at Oregon State University. His background is quite varied, as he has held positions from Lab Assistant to Web Designer to Technical Writer and Long Haul Truck Driver. His goal is to start a Christian-based company that can demonstrate the values of good stewardship of the Earth’s resources, while using some of the techniques he has developed for increased savings in the production of these fuels. Additionally, the desire is for a company that can revitalize the agricultural community in the US, as well as give back to the local economies where the plant(s) are located. For a copy of his resume, please follow this link.

Jon has recently started a Blog, per Aleta’s requests and will be discussing various topics from Literature, History, Religion, and Alternative Fuels.

Aleta’s background is in Botany, where she earned an Honor’s Degree from Oregon State Univeristy. She has worked as a Plant Geneticist with Exelixis and the USDA, and currently has a patent pending.
